Default OKC Convention and Visitors Bureau New Campaign

The Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau is ditching its six-year-old “Cool and Warm” campaign and unveiling a new “OK Seeing is Believing” message that will include a special emphasis on the north Texas and Dallas-Fort Worth market.

The new campaign, along with a new bureau logo incorporating the Skydance Bridge, was unveiled Monday on the 50th floor of Devon Energy Center as civic leaders were told it is time to begin looking forward as a city that is growing as a tourist destination.
Since this was done by the CVB I'm hoping that posting this doesn't infringe on any Oklahoman copyrights.

Why would they use the " WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING" BRIDGE?

Yeah, I'm sure most people will mistake it for a fallen crane or cell phone tower after a tornado LOL.

In any event, this is long overdue. Glad to see they are targeting DFW. The few people I know from here who've been in OKC had great things to say, but the keyword is few. Hell, you can't swing a dead cat down here without hitting some ad for Arkansas, so OKC and OK could really step it up.

If you do not see the K shape of the bridge at that angle, you are not trying very hard.

I think we see it because we know what goes there - a "K" - I'm not sure others will look at it and "K" be a top-of-mind thought.

I see a "V" and an "H" easier than the "K" even though I know that's what it is "supposed" to be. Just my .02.

There aren't about to complaint about free publicity. It comes with the new brand...
