On another note, I just noticed a new tattoo shop opened up in Paseo. It's called Tornado Tattoo www.tornadotattoo.com . The owner is an Oklahoma native who was inking in Colorado but just moved back due to the new law.

I won't go not for 10 bucks for what they don't even say what is going to be there, or anything, and of all places to have it bricktown, I have a cousion works for budwieser, and worked the regea fest and they had 3 shooting while they were down there, adn there was nothing but gang wanna be's hanging all around. With that in mind I won't go to the tat covintion or bricktown for that matter.

dirtrider, as far as Bricktown goes. Technically, the convention is not even in Bricktown proper. The motel the convention is at, misuses the Bricktown name to get tourists who don't know to stay at it. As you know, there are currently NO hotels or motels you can stay at in Bricktown (although some under way). The hotel/motel is basically on the east side of OKC. I don't think you should avoid Bricktown entirely for one incident that happened late at night. As many have mentioned in the Bricktown thread, you might as not go anywhere as crime and shootings happen everywhere in every city.

I was going to say, even if it was a joke, it didn't even make sense, the state fair is every year. not to mention the fact, I don't like the state fair, I probably haven't been in 15 years. Nothing appealing to me.
