A Bricktown Brewery is now under construction in Owasso.
The restaurant, which started in Oklahoma City, will go into the old Ruby Tuesday location at 11909 E. 96th St. N. The building will be gutted and remodeled, and the restaurant's owners hope to be open in July.
The company also has been working on their original location in Oklahoma City with updates to the menu and beers.
“Our concept is pretty simple, we really like a local beer, we first like our beer then other beer from Oklahoma and then regional craft beer. We will bring three to five of our beers from Oklahoma City," said Buck Warfield, managing partner of Bricktown Brewery and president of Enduring Brands.
"Our beers are all session beers lower in alcoholic content than many of the other breweries, so they are the beers you go to if you are going to have a drinking session.”
The owners plan on filling out the beer list with many Oklahoma beers. They also will carry 30 to 50 different kinds of craft beers depending on availability.
