Yeah I was going to say the same thing. Kind of a bad twist of fate. OU gets the big win over OSU to ruin their rival's BCS dreams, and is then rewarded by potentially being thrown in the ring with Bama. A Bama team, I might add, who is especially ticked off that they're not in the title game and are going to be looking to throw a beatdown to whoever they end up playing.

I'm glad Ohio State lost, but I'd still take Braxton Miller over Manzel (now, and especially at the next level).

OU will unfortunately get killed in this matchup. Not nearly enough athletes and too finesse not smash mouth. If this happens a potential USC like 55-19beatdown.

I don't see OU keeping it very close either, but the trip to New Orleans would be a much better reward for the players than what they were looking at after the Baylor loss.

What a coaching job by Stoops with the loss (moving on not injuries) of so many key players...Even if they get smashed they definitely exceeded expectations

OU almost always gets tough bowl match ups, regardless of game. The exception being UConn a couple of years ago. Bowls want OU because our fans travel. Realistically, a team like Baylor should be playing Alabama; that would be a better match up. I agree this doesn't look good for OU but we will give it our all. This team has exceeded my expectations this year.

Yeah, I thought Ikard said it best "Another 'disappointing' ten win season at Oklahoma." At the season's start, I think you'd have been happy to have ten wins, but the texas loss is still painful.

OSU VS Mizzou will be a much better game to watch. Bama will steam roll OU IMO. I predict right now that both state schools lose but OSU will only lose by 14-17 whereas OU gets blown out and dominated.

At first glance, this seems like an easy Oregon win. But Oregon is not playing inspired football this year. Remember, they had a player complaining about just going to the Rose Bowl again. Well how the heck are they going to get excited about the Alamo Bowl?

I could easily see Texas play up for "Mack's last game," run the ball, control the clock, hit a few big plays, and win. Oregon may not even care to be there.

With the long break and tons of time to prepare (or lose momentum), bowl games are the most unpredictable of all -- in a sport that is already difficult to predict.

That's a big part of the fun.
