Special Household Hazardous Waste Collection set for April 28 at State Fairgrounds
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility will hold a special collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the State Fairgrounds.

This collection is for ammunition, computers and computer accessories and tires (sorry, we can't take wheels or rims).

Enter the Fairgrounds at Gate 3 on Gordon Cooper Blvd. from May Avenue.


Didn't know my computer was so hazardous! I guess it IS time to get rid of all the gun ammo I store in random places around my house though. My favorite places to hide it would be the refrigerator, washing machine, and toy boxes.
