Thread: Dying to take a Wii

  1. Default Dying to take a Wii

Anyone hear the truly sad story of the 28-year old Sacramento CA mother of three who died after competing in a radio contest to see who could drink the most water? She drank nearly 2 gallons and died of water intoxication (layman's). She was trying to win a Nintendo Wii for her kids.

I couldn't imagine being her kids, husband or even the DJs at the radio station (fired) - how senseless.

I thought that was horrible.. the guilt those kids will feel their entire life.. I hope they don't but kids often think everything is their fault anyway. So tragic..
