LOL! Well, like Lauri101 says, it's stress relief and there's always the 'improve hand-eye co-ordination' argument...

I read today about pre-order scams so be careful ordering one from Ebay ( if you do, only go for those with hundreds of positive feedbacks) - I know Game Stop is sold out but you might have to be patient.

I'm a X-Box fan ( I love Halo) so I can't help you there but good luck on your arguments.. I'm sure you'll get a few more great ideas.

It will keep you out of the kitchen while she is cooking dinner, and it will help with your hand/eye coordination so that while operating your TV remote, you can still have a drink in your hand. With this coordination, none of your drink will spill on the floor. That's money saved from having to have your carpet cleaned.

In no time, the Playstation 3 will have paid for itself.

Offer her some shopping money in exhange for the PS3. Tell her, the PS3 will give you something to do while she is shopping.

You're confused. You don't really need excuses for a PS3, you need excuses for an XBOX 360

Because that, in turn, will give you an excellent reason to go out and buy a nice 1080p television....MUAHAHAHHAAHAHAH!!!!!!

Easy180-- Walmart has them November 17th 12:01 am for $599.00 - Wireless controller, memory stick, SD card slot, 60 GB - 1 per Customer..

You might think about camping out early - like starting tomorrow..

You'd better get there *darned* early - I've heard (but cannot state as fact) some stories that suggest each Wal Mart is only getting something on the order of 20 *per store* because Sony's initial production run is so limited - something like 400,000 units worldwide maximum.

All this due to parts and manufacturing problems associated with their BlueRay DVD format...

Has anyone seen the sad folks camping out all week at the Best Buy's etc.....I can see the northside Circuit City from my office and there have been two tents setup since yesterday to get their hands on a PS3

50 bucks say they immediately sell it on ebay for a $500 profit
