Default Maywood Park - triangle development groundbreaking

I was priveledged to make the groundbreaking party for the Maywood Park brownstones development last night. These will be built in the Triangle as many of you already know. In case you didn't make it, I have a few pictures of the scale model including the highly talked about proposed sculpture that will be built in the greenspace of this development.

Between 30-50 something feet. The exact size has not been determined. It will depend on materials (steel, etc.) cost at time of it being built.

The artist is Stan Carroll,AIA, formerly of Studio Architecture. Stan has left the practice of architecture to concentrate on art, and designing and fabricating metal works. His new venture is Beyond Metal
    The Old Downtown Guy

It will take decades for Oklahoma City's
downtown core to regain its lost gritty,
dynamic urban character, but it's exciting
to observe and participate in the transformation.

Drove by yesterday. Construction is really taking shape on this fast. They also have some new on-site signs. I have more new pics in my gallery:
