    Question Bridge closed

Why do they have the bridge by the Chesapeake boathouse closed? Is the pile of dirt up the street close to Reno new landscaping or what? Any information would be appreciated.

They're in the process of putting up the new bridges for the new Crosstown. Yup, work has already started on the new Crosstown.

There has been work going on for quite a while. From relocating utilities, clearing properties to make way for the interstate, etc...

Could this be related to the investigation of the body found by the Chesapeake Boathouse?

    No, not related.

They are working on the new crosstown I-40.

You can still cross the Byers Street bridge and access Chesapeake Boathouse... just go south on Byers and turn left at the road block. Then go one block, turn right and go two blocks, turn right again. Go one block and turn left... you are now back on Byers and can cross the bridge or head to the boathouse.
