Two men charged in opossum cruelty

GUTHRIE -- Police arrested two Guthrie men accused of setting an opossum on fire that caused a back yard to burn.

Brian Travis Majors, 18, and Stetson Cole Williams, 19, are charged in Logan County District Court with third-degree arson and cruelty to animals.

Williams told investigators the pair killed an opossum and poured fuel on it, causing the fire, records show.

Williams and Majors were still at the fire March 29 when a deputy arrived, and both gave conflicting stories to investigators, according to a court affidavit.

Yes....they killed it. It's sick.

Yes they should be charged...I dont see the problem killing it...but just the sickness of setting it on fire for their own entertainment value is sick.
