Thread: Woodworks Distillery

    Britton Woodworks Distillery

Located in the renovated former Ritz Theater in the historic old town of Britton, Woodworks Distilling will distill all types of spirits and offer a large tasting room and lounge where patrons will be able to sample their products from a full bar.

Woodworks will also feature food from local restaurants and El Coyote and Venn Pizza (right across the street) will deliver.

They will start with vodka, whiskey and two types of gin and eventually add in tequila and several other liquors.

The space is amazing as the Britton District continues its renaissance. With the recent change in Oklahoma liquor laws, expect more distilleries to start popping up around town.

Woodworks will open in October or November at 912 W. Britton.

Saturday from noon to 11 PM, Woodworks Distilling Co. celebrates its grand opening at 912 w. Britton in the heart of the Britton District.

They've done a great job of renovating the old Ritz Theater and turning it into a distillery and large, beautiful bar area serving cocktails that features their whiskeys, gins, vodka and liqueurs.

On Saturday there will be special prices on craft cocktails, flights with a complimentary glass and food items. Also: tours every half hour and drawings all day long.

Regular hours are Wed & Thu 3 PM to 10 PM; Friday 2 PM to 11 PM; Saturday noon to 11 PM; Sunday 1 PM to 8 PM; closed Mon & Tue.

Lol hmm, I wonder if I accidentally attended some sort of soft opening on accident when I went here a few weeks ago.
Spent my 1 hr: 45 min wait for El Coyote here so I will offer my thoughts:
Very cool venue, interesting mix of chairs with old books and nice decor- great get for the district and was nice to see how lively El Coyote, the distillery, and Venn (R.I.P.) were that night in an area I would not have had any real interest in visiting a year or so ago.
That being said, imho you are paying for ambience over quality of spirits as I don't think I would seek out a $10 pour of Woodworks Bourbon at somewhere like Trappers with a massive selection.
Group I was with did have good things to say about their cocktails.
Would like to go back and do one of the tours and learn about the distilling and aging process here.

Well, it's not technically their bourbon. Theirs is still ageing.
I've been a couple of times, and I think the cocktails are pretty good. I hate vodka, but will say they make a damn good vodka. I even bought a bottle.
