Bricktown needs more "Bricks"

I've made this post before on another message board but I thought I'd make it again here. In my opinion, Bricktown could really use some more "bricks." What do I mean by that? Well, if the district is going to live up to its name, it needs more "brick" streets. Currently only Oklahoma Avenue and Mickey Mantle are bricked. The district's main streets, Sheridan, Reno, and Main Street, are all asphalt. I think this needs to change. The city needs to spend th emoney making these streets brick to match the "Brick"town theme.

Not only that, but how about brick trails along the canal? Or more brick sidewalks?

But to me, the most important brick use is for new building construction. I hope the gas station close to Bass Pro does this; anything else would be disturbing. I would like development to stick to redbrick warehouses, but styles may work too, such as this:

I went by the gas station this afternoon...they used red clay tiles on the outside that look like brick. I in fact thought they were brick until I looked extremely close. Anyways, it seems to fit in very well.
