May try local health department, In norman they have the healthe department, and a seniors center which at one time I think last year did flu shots. I don't know if they are this year again, or if you hav eto be resident of norman at these places. May call around at the hospistals, and see if they can give some idea of where to go.

** I believe they charge $10 per shot** I have also seen churches with signs posted free flu shots for ederly and children.

Thanks for the excellent info, okcgoddess. I firmly believe that all elderly and small children should get the flu shot. I got a flu shot about 8 years ago, and about a week later, I got sick. I was down for two weeks. Since then, I have not taken another flu shot, and I never, ever, got sick like that again. I guess it works for some, but not for others.Originally Posted by okcgoddess
