Dollar General taking over Family Video at 178th and Western

After Family Video closed all of their stores earlier this year, the location at 178th and Western is quickly being transformed into a Dollar General. It appears that Marco's Pizza, and Subway will remain as corner tenants in the strip mall. Right on the edge of Edmond City Limits and across the street from Louie's, Upper Crust, OnCue, Okie Express and Wendy's.

This is 2 miles east of the Dollar General at 178th and Portland, and about 4 miles southeast of the one at Danforth and Kelly in Edmond.

It will be interesting to see how it does. I haven't been impressed by Dollar General stores. Dollar Tree is way better from what I remember.
