Chinese Restaurant

Does anyone, or everyone, remember the name of a Chinese restaurant located on North May Ave., on the west side, somewhere around 27th-30th street? As I remember, it was a store front type, in a building with other businesses… Not talking about the one that was in the old IHOP…

Was there ever a Dot Wo on N. May? Feel like I remember it last being on Portland 10 years ago or so.

Dot Wo was on Portland. There was another one where the poster is describing because we used to get take out there. I don't recall the name.

BTW, Dot Wo is now at 119th and South Penn. Just as good.

After they closed on Portland they relocated to the former Golden Corral on N. May. They closed and it was demolished for a Del Taco and AAA service center.

After they closed on Portland they relocated to the former Golden Corral on N. May. They closed and it was demolished for a Del Taco and AAA service center.

It was called the Golden Pheasant at 2911 N. May.

That little strip center is still there right across from NW Classen HS.

Thanks! Totally forgot about this location. Crazy because we lived within a couple of miles of this location for the short duration that they were there. We ate there once too. SMH, old age has really effed up my memory

This restaurant is up there with Szechuan Bistro, Fungs and Golden Phoenix for excellent Chinese food.
