Office building with rooftop terrace proposed for 301 NE 13th, which is just east of the Walcourt.

Venture by a local real estate investment firm which is also building the under-construction residence to the immediate west.

Oh cool! East of Broadway development! I like it, though it would have been cool to have a full level or two of parking underneath, rather than just the surface lot. But at least it's behind it.

I love the "drive under the building" idea...very cool. But as Colbafone commented above, a couple of floors of parking underneath would make it even "more cooler" lol

This is a pretty neat idea for an area ripe for development. I like the drive-under parking idea, and how it appears they're positioning the entrance for the parking lot to take advantage of the existing curb cut in the median of 13th. Nice touch. Plus the land is already vacant. I like it and hope to see them begin work soon!

The project has made it through the planning department and planning commission but is on its second continuance with City Council.

Nope.

Same group still owns the land but no permits have been filed. They did complete the house directly west (same owners).
