Curious to hear what's going on with the building. Drove by this week and there's construction fence around the whole property and a bunch of Lippert trailers in the parking lot. Searched but didn't come up with anything.

Love's owns it now (their new HQ is directly north) and is renovating it for their use.
Buddy of mine worked for Hertz and was familiar with the building and the deal. Said the basement is full of computer stuff, and moving it was going to be a huge time and $ investment. Love's bought it and gave Hertz a series of one year leases. Each year had a $ multiplier and the multiplier after year 3 was so large that it would force Hertz to be cleared out. Appears it worked.
Love's paid $8.5M for that property which seems like a ton of money for what they got.
I worked for Hertz from 2009-2013, it was their disaster recovery site, had basically a somewhat smaller (but still huge) set of servers/network gear than their main data center at the MacArthur/NW Expressway location. Need to ask my friend that used to work there until last week (moved to Paycom) where their new DR site is.
