    Default Oklahoma Gardens & Arboretums.

Those of you who are in the know; parks that have an arboretum in OKC or Oklahoma?

Have relatives from the DFW Metroplex and Omaha who plan to meet in a week long visit to OKC around June-August; just want to make an impression on them . They are into gardens & arboretums; Will Rogers & Myriad Botanical are on my list so far, are there any more impressive ones in our state?

Haven't had a chance to really explore the renovated Myriad Botanical Gardens Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory except several displays inside the botanical tube.

    Will do more research...

Tulsa has a couple as well. I’ll look for the names of them.

Tulsa Botanic Garden in the Osage Hills northwest of downtown - only about 1/5 complete but still worth seeing and there are lots of trails

    This is the master plan:

Tulsa Rose Garden/Linnaeus Teaching Garden/Woodward Park - especially when the roses and azaleas are in bloom

    Philbrook Museum gardens

    Thanks BG918:

Tulsa's arboretums may be more of their cup of tea. Will see how they handle OKC's gardens & arboretums, allow them to rest then on to T-town.

Infamous Tulsa Rose Garden east of South Peoria? Went there in the late 80s

Yes it's adjacent to Woodward Park and a short walk from Philbrook so you could easily do all three then have lunch in Utica Square or Brookside. Also you would be about a half mile from the Gathering Place which will open this summer along the river:
