OKLAHOMA CITY, January 26th, 2018 – Midtown is adding one of the most unique event center in town: the Reinhart, Historic Midtown Venue. The Reinhart is a historic renovated mansion by Omega Investments and is located at 515 NW 13, between Dewey Ave and Walker Ave.
“It is an honor for us, Omega Investments, to be able to keep this beautiful Heritage Hills architecture jewel in the urban scene of Midtown while offering to Oklahoma community as an event venue to honor Sir Martin John Reinhart, the Quiet Builder, who contributed such a legacy for the city.”, said Nathan Cao, founder & owner of Omega Investments.
The property will be open as a venue for weddings, events, parties, executive retreats, luncheon, etc and will be to officially open in Spring 2018 so guests can fully enjoy the whole facility and the Amelia garden named after Martin John Reinhart’s daughter.
“Along with neighborhood retails in Midtown and streetcars just 2 blocks away, the Reinhart will definitely add more pedestrian traffic to arguably the most walkable block in the urban core,” said Mr. Cao.
Before their Grand Opening in Spring 2018, the Reinhart is offering a series of soft openings such as Barre3 class, Valentine’s dinner, etc.
“Please join us on Valentine’s Day for a romantic, candle light dinner at Midtown’s newest event center: The Reinhart”, said Lauren Bernhard, event director of the Reinhart. “The Valentine’s Day dinner is the first and exclusive opportunity open to the public to see the inside of this restored and updated home. And our grand opening will be grand with Great Gatsby party style.”
The four-course menu has been created by Chef Kamala Gamble with Kam’s Cookery. There will be a cocktail house with hors d’oeuvres and prosecco. The soup will be a crab corn bisque. A choice of entrees will be between beef tenderloin and demi-glace, cedar plank salmon or butternut squash risotto. Dessert will be a choice between a chocolate torte with caramel and fresh fruit or chocolate mousse with whipped cream, caramel and raspberries. Red and White wine will be provided in addition to a cash bar.
The event will begin at 6:30pm with a cocktail hour. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. Gypsy Jazz Band will help set the atmosphere. Tickets are $175.00 per couple and available on www.theReinhart.com.
The home is approximately 4200 square feet and was built in 1910. It was home to the Reinhart family for over 60 years. The family’s legacy can be seen in buildings all over the city via their construction business Reinhart & Donovan Construction Co. Legacy projects includes Osler building (Ambassador hotel), Seiber hotel, the Plaza Court, Mideke, the Sunshine Cleaner, Biltmore hotel, Little Flower Catholic Church, Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and many more. This home is an integral part of Oklahoma City’s history.
“We are happy to be able to restore the historical elements of the Reinhart while adding modern touch sensibility such as addition of large master bathroom and beautiful updated kitchen,” said Scarlet Le-Cao, owner of Omega Investments. “We would like to have community and guests host events in this treasure of Midtown and enjoy the over 100-year old beautiful fireplaces made from tiger stripe wood, hand-made sub way tiles, original stained glass, massive wood work, and mosaic hardwood floor. And they will feel comfortable with our accommodation of furnished beautiful master suite, along with 6 bedrooms, and 3.5 baths.”
