Thread: Where to give away a turkey.

Default Where to give away a turkey.

We have acquired a turkey and would like to give it away. I know it is likely too late for Thanksgiving use, but, would like for some group to have for their Christmas affair. Where is a good or the best place to drop off said turkey? Thanks for any help.

Not too late for Thanksgiving, even if it is frozen solid, if you've watched Good Eats! B-)

Seriously though, if the first church you call doesn't take it, and by some miracle the second and third also refuse, stop calling churches and check out https://www.regionalfoodbank.org/get-help. If the main number says no, and you put in your zip code and the first couple entries also say no...sorry, there's no ending to that sentence because the first church you called took it and we never even got this far.
