Italian woman Emma Martina Luigia Morano (29 Nov 1899 - 15 April 2017) was the last verified surviving person born in the 1800s. Upon Morano's death, the oldest verified living person is now Violet Mosse Brown (b. 10 March 1900) of Jamaica.

Very sad to see that she passed. I would have loved to just sit down with her and hear story's of everything she has witnessed, and how life has changed since she was a child.
