    Actor Alan Rickman, known for his roles in Harry Potter and Die Hard (among others), has passed away from cancer at the age of 69.

    An actor of immense range and the most beautiful speaking voice on the planet, IMO. He was revered as a stage actor in Britain, and it's sad most people know him as the campy villains he played in a lot of movies.

    I was so sorry to see this this morning.
