My wife.She's Colombian so I attribute Empanadas to them. El Fogon De Edgar down on 23rd makes great empanadas. They are fried and if memory serves me, you can get them in chicken, beef, or pork. I've had them from various Mexican restaurants in the area and they are not near as good.
