Freddie's Discount Tires on Reno?

I need to get my brakes done, have used Honda in the past since my Civic has been under warranty until recently and the dealer's service dept. used to be good. They're not good anymore, and Freddie's is right down the street from work, would be handy, but I know nothing about how good/bad they are. Anybody know if they're OK or if I should stay away from them for a standard brake job?

We used Freddie's for years back in the 80's and early 90's. I believe they were located on Agnew back then.

Can't speak for their service today but the fact they have been around for so long has to say something about them.

Thanks for the reply, not so sure about the last part, though - I've been to plenty of places that have been around forever, but they sucked in some form or another, just look at all the BBQ places that have been in business for years here that serve crappy BBQ. I'll give them a call, see what their estimate is, can't be worse than a dealer...
