    Thanks for the link. Eisenhower's insight always amazed me. As a man from middle America (Kansas), he exemplified the best in America. We might not have won WWII without him. He was the right man at the right time.

    I'm glad we have the Eisenhower Memorial at Lake Hefner's Stars & Stripes Park (just North of the Bob Hope Pavilion) to honor his life and leadership. There are a myriad of his quotes on plaques inset in the wall surrounding the large flag pole overlooking the water.
