Old Krispy Kreme/JRs BBQ/Slim Chicken Being Gutted

Any news on what is happening to this empty restaurant? Looks like the interior is being gutted, all windows are removed. May be getting ready to demo it?

Darn. Knocking out those windows allowed a lot of great smells to escape, such as just cooked hot glazed donuts and... BBQ.

Slim Chickens was the last tenant and never opened .The building was demolished. There is still a newer one in Norman going toward Noble. Yes new windows etc in Taco Cabana building...waiting to see who new tenant is.
