    Great voice and a knockout as well.
    Does not seem to be a lot of people in popular music like this anymore, or maybe ive just gotten older.

    Achilleslaststand and KevinPate. It's possible we three (among others) are of another generation. However, Linda Ronstadt had a beautiful voice, reaching to the venue back row, with plenty to spare.

    It's too bad that Parkinson's has robbed her of that voice.

    I saw her live at a club called Tulagi's back about the time of the first post on this thread. She was incredible. So was her band. I think I had about a half dozen of her records at one time. Although I liked her earliest stuff the best, her covers of those old "big band" songs were great, too. Thanks for the reminder. I always thought it was a little weird that her boyfriend at one point was Warren Zevon.
