$5.5 million building permit application today for a 4-story hotel at 7817 S. Walker.

Odd number addresses are on the west side of the street, but I'm not exactly sure where this will be going.

Given the names of those on the permit app, it looks to be a Comfort Inn.

Same group recently developed a Comfort Inn on MacArthur just south of I-40:

While this is no world class development, good to see the south side get a little bit of love. There really aren't many hotels on this side of town.

Actually there a quite a few along and near I240 and on I35 on the south side. Some are marginal quality, however.
