My thoughts and prayers go out to the Johnson family. Not a easy time for anyone.

My prayers and heart felt sympathy go out to Merv Johnson & Family that God will give them the strength, knowledge and endurance to accept what's to come.

Merv and Cindy are wonderful people. They are both iconic figures in the OU / Norman community.
I have had the pleasure of visiting with both on several occasions. Cindy is a huge dog lover. She once let my wife bring our Basset Hound into the store where she worked.

After last nights game I heard Merv say that he would continue to offer OU color radio commentary for as long as they will have him...To OU fans who enjoy learning more about the game of football he is like a blessing because there is non better anywhere.
May god help Merv and his family thought this.

That's too bad. Good people. Any word on the cause of death? If she became ill last weekend and passed this weekend, it had to be something sudden like a stroke or a sudden respiratory illness. RIP, Cindy.
