OK, before all the "mystery tower" speculation gets started, I want to clarify by stating this thread is not based on any reality. I am wondering what would the probability of the Skirvin expanding with another tower on the site of the bank drive thru directly north of the existing space. I know this concept was proposed awhile back during the convention center location discussion was going on. I also know we will be *hopefully* building a real convention hotel. OKC is still playing catch up IMO, we have no spec building going on IMO. The Skirvin also seems to be filling up nicely on average occupancy. Wouldn't it stand to reason they expand in the near future to said site? Especially if Sandridge (ortheir buyout partner) grows? Even if Sandridge goes belly up or gets acquired, they remodeled a nice campus that will be filled sooner rather than later. Couple this with a growing CLR and more and more businesses relocating to CBD, I think it would be a wise move on behalf of Skirvin partners.
