Oklahoma freshman running back Brandon Williams has decided to transfer to Texas A&M, according to reports from GigEm247 and the Dallas Morning News. Williams, a native of Brookshire, was on Texas A&M's campus Saturday and has decided to leave the Sooners in order to be closer to home.
Highly rated recruit, but probably didn't have much of a future being the full time RB...especially with the Belldozer taking a bigger role coming up.

Williams was good as a freshman, but he's from the Houston area, has a new born baby and feels like he needs to be closer to home. A&M is just northwest of Houston.

He might have been the starter for 2 to 3 years. The Blake Bell formation will never become our primary running formation. I'm assuming you were kidding. This is a huge loss. OU has now lost 3 quality RBs to transfer this year with rumors of a 4th might be transferring (Clay). Everything about the OU program has been terribly depressing for the last 2 months.

He probably just wants a 1 in 14 chance of playing for a national championship.

Are you saying he has a 1 in 14 chance of playing for the title at A&M? If so, I would say his chances are lower than that. A&M has never even seriously contended to play for the national title since the BCS system started in 1998. They haven't won a title since the 30s.

No biggie...Whaley taught us that even a walk on can thrive in this offense...O-Line will be very experienced next year so probably just nab a JUCO or two

Well, I disagree. Losing our most talented RB is a biggie, but we can survive it if the injury bug doesn't hit us again next year. Whaley, Finch, hopefully Clay, and a JUCO should do the trick.
