    Default Marriott Courtyard: I-44 & Classen

    Building permit today for $1.7 million to renovate this hotel.

    It was built in 1997 so still pretty new and that's a big chunk of money. Should see some substantial changes:

    I bet they're just redoing the paint/wallpaper/carpet/bedding/etc. 2 million really isn't that much for that many rooms.

    Hopefully they will use a different design expert than the Country Inn on NW Expressway used.

    Yeah, I'm betting it is for interior work because the exterior still looks good to me.

    The whole place was built for $5 million.

    There are only 122 rooms... I doubt they are spending $14,000 for each room built about 10 years ago.

    I'm sure they are complete re-doing the lobby and other amenities.

    As you said, $5 10 years ago. Your buck doesn't go nearly as far as it once did.
