New building permit to remodel the old Circuit City space near QS Mall.
The building is now owned by TJX, parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Homegoods.
Not sure which of these concepts will be going in and have made some inquiries.

I will say HomeGoods. None in this market, but a bunch in Dallas. Would be a good time for them to enter.
By a Google search of average store sizes of each of their 2 stores, Homegoods is smallest with 28,000 SF, TJ Maxx is #2 with 30,000 SF and Marshalls is at the top with 32,000 SF.
I'd be happy with any of them, I live in the area.
Agree with mrktguy29. We are fans of all three. Would do quite well at that location.
Marshalls is supposed to be going in on north side. Bet this is it.
I've always preferred Ross to Marshalls and TJMaxx. This seems like a prime destination for a HomeGoods since we've already got a Ross across the street.
There used to be a Circuit City in that shopping center adjacent to Super Target on the NE corner of Memorial & Penn.
Going to be a Marshalls.
Sign is out that has the marshals logo and coming soon!!
this is exciting! It took long enough for us north-siders to get a marshall's...
What is comparable to a Marshall's?
Penny's? Dillard's? Talbot? Khol's? Ross?
I can't say I recall ever stepping foot in a Marshall's.
None of the above, it's the Dillards of Ross' if you will
Metro, you crack me up, but yes, your description of Marshall's is right on!
They painted the front part of the building where the signage is going blue and have started hanging the channel letters in place. White letters on the blue background. They have also added their sign into the main sign for the shopping center. Moving along rather quickly. This center is starting to remind me of one that is is Grand Prairie Texas with Target, Marshalls and a few other random stores. Looks like they want it to be open before the holiday shopping season starts.
