I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but my family moved to OKC when I was about 3. I stayed until I was 29, then headed out here to California.

Even though pretty much all my childhood was in Oklahoma, I never felt like a native because my parents weren't from the area, we were Catholic, didn't have the Okie accents / phrasing, etc.

Born and raised in Oklahoma! Born in Ada and have spent most of my life in southeastern Oklahoma: my childhood was spent in Wright City (near Broken Bow and Idabel), and my teenage years were spent in Durant, where I also graduated high school from.

Born and raised right here in Oklahoma City. I've lived other places (and still do part-time), but I've been here for the vast majority of my 51 years since 1959.

Live across the street from the hospital where I was born. Dad was in drug store management (Katz & Osco) so we got moved around almost as much as the stereotypical "military brat". Lived in OK, KS, MO, ARK, IA & FL. Been back here since my college days in the mid 80s. In Oklahoma have lived in OKC, Yukon, Bethany & Norman

While I have had to shake my head at some of our political leaders (city/county/state) on both sides of the aisle, I have never been ashamed to let others know what city/state I gladly call home. I realize we don't have a monopoly on "questionable" elected officials. They are everywhere and of all political persuasions. Some states just seem to lean more towards one direction or the other. To each their own preference.

Born in Washington, District of Columbia a month prior to the promotion, by the electorate, of General Eisenhower to President.
(Perhaps one reason that I subliminally, yet sincerely, appreciate the focus of the recent remodel out there on Stars and Stripes Point around the flagpole.)

Involuntarily relocated to Boulder, Colorado in 1954, by parents (former Pentagon secretary and former Naval Gun Factory Scientific Instrument Maker), as part of a semi-non-secret government program involving "Standards" . . . "Bureaus" . . . "Departments of Commerce" . . . and "Atomic Clocks" . . .

Grew up (or at least aged) and was "Schooled" in the Pre-People's Republic (with annual trips to Oklahoma in the summer to maintain perspective) until moving to Oklahoma, permanently, in The Winter of '74.

    The Rest is History.
    (Being made . . . =)

    Sorry . . . I digressed . . .

Moved here in '69 from Texas right after my 11th birthday. You know how Texans are and I am the most surprised of all that I completely fell in love with Oklahoma. Raised my kids, here. In 2000 I moved to the Washington DC area and moved back in December 2009. I consider myself to be an Oklahoman to my soul.

I am absolutely a Native Oklahoman. I was born many years ago in the Edmond Hospital. At the time of my birth the Edmond Hospital was located on Broadway over the Bronco Theater. What a hoot! The hospital over the theater. My parents lived in OKC but used a doctor in Edmond. Been to many, many places but am proud to be from Oklahoma. My grandparents left Tennessee in a wagon. Traveled to Texas and then moved into Okla. One thing I love about this state is how "young" we are. Look how far we've come since 1907.

Born in Gainesville, Texass & moved to Oklahoma in 1999 with my Okie wife to care for her father. I like living here & plan on staying around. Oklahoma's been good to us.
