HBO Premiere tonight - HOT COFFEE

If you've got HBO I highly recommend you watch this documentary on Tort Reform that premieres tonight. I was able to see a sneak preview and it is very eye-opening.

The title comes from the most highly recognized and most widely misreported lawsuit involving a woman who spilled scalding coffee from McDonald's on her lap. Odds are you were told and considered this a frivolous lawsuit. In reality, it was anything but.

They go on to cover much of the propaganda that big corporations want you to believe so that you'll give up your rights to hold them accountable.

It was simply another side of the story. I could think of a second way to tell some of them that would have generated the opposite response.

I don't deny there are frivolous lawsuits. But seeing the money they pumped into ads just disgusts me.
