Personal Web Startpage

So....what do you think? The big icon next to Newsok goes to my much more detailed startpage. This resides on my local hard drive and is what I see when I open Firefox.

Thunder, when I open my browser, this is my personal portal. It looks exactly as you see it. I just click on an icon and it takes me to the site.

Oh, and the white bar in the middle with the arrow on the right is Google search.

Pretty interesting. I like Chrome's little start page...that has now been stolen by IE9. Your idea though is pretty cool...and much more colorful. :-)

Opera used to have a start page where you could have your nine favs loaded and ready to launch to them. Maybe it still does but I stop using it. Don't even recall why Firefox won out right off, but FF is about all I ever open anymore for web purposes.
