It's actually still about 5 ft below normal, but the water comes into the lake on the west side of the lake, just north of the golf course. This water comes from several reservoirs along the North Canadian River watershed, mainly Canton Lake. There is a canal that starts on the northeast side of Lake Olverholser near Stinchcomb that goes to Lake Hefner. There is an underground portion of the canal that goes under NW Expressway even, near Wilshire.
The city posted an announcement when the Army Corps of engineers was releasing water from lake canton to hefner and overholser.
