Very nice. The Plaza District is a great little neighborhood that reminds me of one in a bigger city. I'd like to see more retail and restaurant options there, to make it a true destination for non-residents. This is the kind of place that will help get it there.
Great news! Trying to picture what building this will be in.....
good deal ... i'm sure they must mean COOP beers ..
Great news.
With the crazy success of McNellie's there seems to be plenty of room for more of these pubs/watering holes in the urban core.
This sounds really cool. And sure to bring more people to the area
It's in the building where Timothy Trujillo had his acupuncture place before moving up on Western. It's on the NE corner of the intersection east of Lyric — I forget the cross street. The proprietor, Michael Patrick Ireland, was a bartender at the Sidecar and I guess a couple of other places. A food services guy from Chesapeake is running the kitchen.
Preview tonight at LIVE on the Plaza:

It looks like I moved to the Plaza at the perfect time.
Let the Guinness flow!
The Plaza is going to become one of OKC's little gems. I'm hoping it also becomes one of the top choices for home purchase and renovation.
There has already been a good amount of renovation recently. On the north side of the street almost to Classen, between Klein and McKinley. There are also several homes on 17th and 18th that have been recently renovated. It is beginning to become a cool little neighborhood.
Has anyone checked it out yet? Atmosphere? Old/Young Crowd? Smoking?
It isn't open yet--date TBA
...and we will be announcing the other concept to open this Spring soon as well!!
No, that was truly a rumor. Can't wait to announce! Just waiting on final inspections for both of these opening dates to be announced!
Cool
Snapped a few pictures.

Yeah, Jeff Struble has renovated a lot of those houses and his company has purchased several more in the southern corner of Gatewood. He sort of renovates them to suit the prospective buyer, sort of like a new home builder almost. It's a good strategy for going about mass home renovations..
Saw on the news tonight there were two house fires on 16th and McKinley. Any news?
Maybe its time to collect some insurance money and build anew?
Glad this place opens today. Looking foward to reading reviews.
