Thread: OKC Top 10 Worst Housing Markets?

Default OKC Top 10 Worst Housing Markets?

Saw this on PBS Oklahoma News Report tonight. According to Clear Capital's Home Data Index Market Report, Oklahoma City saw home prices fall 8.5 percent in 2010, and prices are projected to fall another 7.6 percent in 2011.

Looks like it is actually great for buyers.

Wait, prices fell? Prices have been rising. If that's true, not only is it a big reversal, but it's not good.

Did you read those documents you posted, we are not in the top 10 on any of their most recent documents. The only mention is 42 forecasted growth with no reason given for why with our economy doing better than most cities we would have a turn around.

Our city is actually one of the least affected by the recession. It is definitely a buyer's market and a great time for buying investment properties but we would by no means consider OKC even a "bad" housing market.
