Ahh, the early days of the Internet. I love how they have an "enclosed a" symbol instead of the @ sign in the graphic.

That's hilarious! And only 7 years ago.
Already, it's very hard to remember life without the 'net.
For that matter, personal computers have only been around since the late 80's. Amazing to think about.
LOL - "you don't need a phone line to access the internet". You did in 1994.
I worked for a commercial real estate firm in Leadership Square through '88, and up until the time I left we still had a "secretarial pool" where we would take our dict-a-phone tapes back to a room of people (stereotypically, all female) who then used IBM Selectric typewriters to create the correspondence.
It was like a scene straight out of Mad Men, but in 1988! Shows you how little things changed for decades and then accelerated exponentially starting in the 90's.
2011 - 1994 = 17 (I think your '1' key got stuck)That's hilarious! And only 7 years ago.
Makes me smile, as did a freecycle note this am from someone looking for a new home for their old TRS-80, condition unknown.
