That is interesting. I wonder how these gamma ray and positron bursts might relate to the relatively new discovery of Elves and Sprites lightning-related phenomena in the upper atmosphere.

I assume the sprites are what we see when the anti-matter destroys itself by combining with matter. Maybe not though. I remember seeing something about those when i was young and always wondered what they actually were.
