I've been there once, they did not have the right napkins. I also thought their sushi was a bit over done and plasticy... I would not return for a while, unless I see good reviews.
They only had cocktail size napkins, which were way too small, and not the full-size napkins good for wiping your mouth, etc.
How dare they!
Still corrupting young minds
Jbkrems, stop by anytime to try some more rolls or a Wok'd dish on the house. If you'll give us another chance, I'm hopeful we can find something on our menu that you will love. That day our vendor came very late with our paper goods. We have definitely stocked up and am positive that running out of dinner napkins was a one time occurrence. Please accept my apologies for your experience. I want you and all of our Guests to have a wonderful dining experience. It's like my home and I want to be a good hostess. Raising three young boys of our own, I understand the demands on your time and importance of eating a nutritious meal. We, at Nhinja promise to serve fresh meats, fish, and vegetables and whole grains when possible. We strive to be fast, fun, and fresh just like Mike, Kobe, and JoJo.
I tried this place out last week and thought it was pretty good. I got a to go order of the general chicken. The portion size was really large, enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I thought the quality was great. The chicken used was large chunks of white chicken. It was as good a quality as I have had from any local asian restaurant that I can remember. I did not try the sushi, from what I saw, it looked decent.
Thinking about going for anniversary dinner. What would favorite sushi or other menu items be? Any suggestions?
I wouldn't go there if you're going for sushi. My girlfriend and I were both underwhelmed by their sushi when we went. The staff was pretty ambivalent, too.
Nhinja is fast, fresh, clean atmosphere and friendly staff... I have returned several times! Not to mention I LOVE Kang's and its the little brother to Kang's...
I've been several times as it's not too far from where I live. Great for a quick pop-in solo lunch while I'm out running errands. I would definitely NOT put their sushin on par with Tokyo, Neko or even Okura. I'd imagine it would be considered way to casual for a celebratory place for most folks. Still, it's good for a quick pre-movie dinner or lunch.
So pretty much just go for the Wok menu items and stay away from the sushi...
It's counter service, but they give you a number and deliver your food at the table and bus it for you after you leave. I only tried a chicken dish, not the sushi, it was very good, but pricey IMO.
