Happy Thanksgiving!

This is my favorite holiday of the year! It's the only holiday that hasn't been totally commercialized.

To everyone on OKC Talk; conservatives and liberals; John Birch righties and Karl Marx lefties; Northsiders and Southsiders; country rednecks and tattooed and pierced heavy metallists, and everyone in between all of these, I hope you all have something to be thankful for today.

I was born in Fort Riley, Kansas and have lived in Arlington, Texas for nearly 23 years. But from 1957 until 1988 I lived in Clinton, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. I'm proud to call myself an American and while I may not always be proud of Oklahoma, I'm proud to let people know I am an Okie.

Thanks Sky, for the inclusivity--since I make John Birch look like a communist...I lived in Texas for a time...even went to college there as well...a good state with a lot of good people...your apple did not fall far from the tree when you landed in Texas...
