Thread: Want to praise a worker at a local business

Default Want to praise a worker at a local business

It isn't often that we "notice" how well-kept a place is, or is it often that we get to meet the person responsible for keeping a place clean, but I'd like to give a sincere shout-out to Gloria, the "cleaning lady," as she calls herself, at the All American gym on SW 104th. To me, a gym MUST be 'clean' to be appealing and a place I want to work out. All American has had fairly good luck in the past at keeping the place well, but with their new "cleaning lady" [that's what she calls herself], it is looking immaculate and absolutely sparkles!

    Great going, Gloria.

And yes, I HAVE thanked her personally and also spoken to the mgmt about how outstanding she is.

Wife and I normally make a point to tell mgmt when we receive great service

Sending emails or letters are easy and they are sure to be forwarded up the chain

We often put together care packages or thank you cards with a gift card or cash for our custodians at the school. There is just so much to do in a 4-story school building filled with teenagers 0_o

It's important to thank them, and anyone else who provides services that make the lives of others easier, I think.
    Still corrupting young minds
