    Default Fine dining in OKC?

    Hi folks,

I am planning to visit my fiancé in OKC this coming July, and am looking for some "fine dining" restaurants in the OKC area. While upscale grills and the like would be fine, I would like to find at least one restaurant with a good 5-11 course tasting menu. I have searched and searched to no avail, any advice?

    Help me out here, folks...

    Red Prime?
    Museum Cafe?
    Deep Fork?
    The Coach House, perhaps?
    Park Ave Grill...

I relocated to Philly and just came back and really, there's nothing quite like you are describing..I sure wish there was!
There are some good places, though.

Coach House, Deep Fork Grill, Cafe Nova, La Baguette, and The Metro are the restaurants I can think of, though there are others.. If you're willing to open your pocketbook, they'll pair each course with a wine, as well. La Baguette would probably be the best choice for a traditional French multiple course meal.

Table One: culinary immersion | Oklahoma City Restaurants

Table One is not a restaurant. The new collaboration of chefs Ryan Parrott and Jonathon Stranger is an experience built around food. The food is very good to be sure, but you’ll want to try it for the uniqueness it offers as much as anything.
That’s about the best way to describe this one table wonder. You and a group (up to eight) sit around a table inside an industrial kitchen and watch the chefs prepare your meal while you drink wine, chat with the chefs and each other, and enjoy a unique experience. Think culinary immersion. It’s a fun journey and, as far as we know, there’s nothing else like it in Oklahoma City.
Of our fifteen courses, three were desserts (four if you count the Wensleydale cheese with blueberries, fig and pear). The saffron Panna Cotta was very intriguing and definitely fell into the “never thought of that before” category. Then there was the “Study of Chocolate” and the White Chocolate Souffle. Yes, we were all quite full by the end.
This may be up your alley...

My brother and his wife did this. They LOVED it. Very unique.

Nataani, here are a few ideas. Some are more expensive and higher quality than others. All would be considered really nice. Check out their websites there's bound to be one that fits your tastes. Good luck.

    The Coach House:

Castle Falls. They actually have a very nice "Proposal" package that gets you a private room, a couple of courses, and drinks. You even get a personal consult with the chef before-hand:

It's not really fine dining, but it is just so darn much fun and the food is fantastic... Royal Bavaria (German):

Thanks for the great advice folks, it seems I have a lot of reading to do!

Table One looks very interesting, I will have to get in contact with them. Somehow I suspect that it may be a tad beyond my price range with only two people there but we will see.

Now to read through menus on all the other restaurants, only a few of these turned up in my searches!

    I'll echo the others.

Table One is about the only high-end, top chef like experience with a 10 course or so meal.

Red Prime - top 10 steakhouse in the U.S.
    Nonnas
    La Baguette - downtown location
    Deep Fork Grill
    Bellini's
Whatever the new name is for Charlie Newtons
    Mahogany
    Skirvin Hotel
