Kimberly, a former Thunder
Girl and Norman native, is one of 25 bachelorettes taking part in the 14th edition of “The Bachelor.”
She will be competing for the attention of bachelor Jake Pavelka, a commercial pilot from Dallas, when “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love” premieres Jan. 4 on ABC.
Kimberly, 24, was on the 2008-09 Thunder Girls squad and did not try out for this season’s team that entertains the crowds at the Oklahoma City Thunder’s NBA games.
In the premiere episode, Jake, 31, meets 25 potential soul mates as he begins his search for true love. And in the first rose ceremony, he must eliminate 10 of the 25 women, leaving 15 to compete for his affection and, in the end, his heart.
For those who cannot watch the show Mondays at 7 p.m., each episode of “The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love” will be available on ABC.com the day after airing on the network for everybody to enjoy at their convenience.
