I remember that and saw the plans in the vault. I had heard there was a backlash by some inside OG&E against "spending that kind of utility customers money" and the board decided not to go through with it. I heard that from a few different people but have no idea if there was any validity to it.

For some reason I recall a plan by First Interstate Bank to build an office tower in OKC in the '82 to '84 time frame. I swear I can vision an artist rendition that appeared on the front page of the Oklahoman. Did I just dream that?
