Thread: Coming Soon to Diamond Ballroom: DAVID ARCHULETA???

  1. Default Coming Soon to Diamond Ballroom: DAVID ARCHULETA???

Yes, that's right. American Idol runner-up and teen pop star David Archuleta has a concert coming up at the Diamond Ballroom, of all bizarre places.

What will all those 12 year old girls do when they can't get into this concert?

At least mall parking lots are teeny-bopper friendly.

As empty as it is, the acoustics would be amazing.

I pretty much live in a cave when it comes to American Idol, except for Phil Stacey's season a short time back. The fam knows him and his in-laws. From which season is Archuleta?

Last season's runner-up to David Cook. He is a younger kid (around 16-17) from Salt Lake City.

I think the Diamond has had some "under age" shows, they just don't serve alcohol at them. I saw the GooGoo Dolls there many years ago and can't remember if they served or not, I think it was an 18 and over show and they did.

I know the Austin Music Hall here has a mix of shows where they serve or don't serve. I went to Joe Satriani/Mountain and they served alcohol and went to Third Day/David Crowder Band and they did not. A church we also go to here has started having Sunday services there (downtown) and Chris Tomlin played there a bunch when he was based here. I know they have some shows aimed at an "under age" audience and they do not serve at those.
