We just put up a review of this place, which features opinions from five different diners. Here's the link:
Buddha Tao: slick, pricey, and in many ways very good | Oklahoma City Restaurants
I have been Buddha Tao a few times... it is usually good... be careful what you order.
This thread makes it sound like the place is closed or long gone. It's a brand new place. Why not just say anyone ever eaten at Budda Tao?
Joopy phrased it very oddly.
Average food, overpriced, and the the time it takes to make the food is just horrible. You would be much better off going another two blocks west on memorial to Yakimono by Starbucks. NOT the end all be all of sushi but much better quality and speed for the amount of money you spend. I can go to Yakimono and get a drink, fried rice and sushi roll for around 8 bucks.
Kristae,
But not everyone who goes to Buddha Tao wants sushi. Buddha Tao has an expansive robata grill menu, which is quite good. They also have other entrees. Yakimono is a bit different, and you can get things at Buddha Tao, like duck, which you cannot get at Yakimono.
True but the thread asked if anyone has been and I have and thats what I got, so I gave my opinion on it. I also had a chicken rice bowl with the sushi and that was just as unimpressive. Now I can completely see how the ultra lounge part of would be a hit at night, the ambiance is awesome. I just wasnt impressed by the lunch.
Oh you went for lunch? I thought you went for dinner. I usually go for dinner, about once every other week.
also known as once every fortnight... *chortles*Originally Posted by metro

Ah, fortnight. That word warms the cockles of my heart.
I went to Buddha Tao on New Year's Eve. I'm not a big sushi eater, but I must say, the sushi I had there was served beautifully and tasted delicious!
