Thread: 10 Best US Cities

  1. Default 10 Best US Cities

While we're not on this list, I found it heartening to see so many cities in our surrounding states that made the list.

    No California, Florida or Washington......

    So, we're in good company.

I just wonder what we need to do to be on this list?

To me it doesn't look like we're far from that list. It seems that they are choosing cities that offer big city amenities with a small city feel. With a little better marketing of ourselves we could probably make that list.

Probably a slightly more diversified corporate landscape and we're in.

And better local public transportation opportunities. That's really becoming the critical issue right now. Despite the wonders that are C2S, if a viable public transportation infrastructure is not created as a part of the next big push, it's unlikely it will succeed as envisioned.

Nothing reaks of diversity like Boise, ID.

There was an article somewhere recently about the fact that there are now so many of these types of lists, and they rank on so many different criteria and for such different audiences, that almost every metro in the country is on at least one top 10 list and one bottom 10 list. These lists have lost their meaning.

They've got a solid top 10 list. Perhaps one day OKC or Tulsa could crack that list.
